Ella Mae Wilson, 78, of Vincennes, IN went home to be with the Lord on July 25, 2022. She was born in Lawrenceville, IL on October 4, 1943, to the late Ernest L. Hays Sr. and I. Ruth Hays. She graduated form Lawrenceville High School in 1961. Ella married, the love of her life, Gary Wilson on August 18, 1961. While her main goal in life was to raise her family, she also helped her husband run their business Wilson's Plumbing. Ella also worked as an assistant deli manager at Harold's for many years. Ella was a loving mother and enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed camping at Sullivan Lake and was very active in the church. Ella will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and granddaughter Chelsea Keller. Ella is survived by her children Susan (Cary) Keller, Caryl (Greg) Stroud, David (Dawn) Wilson, Beth (Gary Hamilton) Wilson, Kari (David) Triplett, Sara (Rusty) Littell, Joseph Wilson; grandchildren Cary Michael (Audra) Keller, John Keller, Heath Keller, Heather (Derek) Cardinal, Jackson Stroud, Cain (Melissa) Wilson, Adrian (Audrey) Wilson, Brody (Lauren) Wilson, Kelly (Kirt) Shouse, Christopher Triplett, David Triplett, Korinne Littell, Kyleigh Littell, Kortney Littell, Kaycee Littell, Tylar Wilson, Josalyn Wilson, Bre'Ella Wilson; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings Ernest (Sharon) Hays Jr., Patricia (Randy) Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored and entrusted with the care of Ms. Wilson. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 11am - 1pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 1pm at 524 Broadway St. Vincennes, IN 47591 with burial at Memorial Park following.
