Ellen Sims

Ellen M. "Reese" Sims, 70, of Owensville, IN lost her long battle with cancer August 7, 2020. She was born August 13, 1949 in Gibson County Indiana to the late Ivan and Linda (Smith) Wilson. Reese attended and graduated from Patoka High School. She retired from Ameriqual Foods where she worked as a fork truck driver. Reese is most know for working at Stop-N-Go for the last several years. She enjoyed working and riding four wheelers. Reese will be missed by many in her family and our community. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Phyllis Mayberry. Reese is survived by her children Diana Perry and Denise (Don) Hayes; grandchildren Amber Haile, Derrick (Courtney), Alyssa (Alex Frymire) Guard, Ashton, and Evan Wilson; sisters Betty (Linus) Lindy, Ruth (Stan) White, and Judy (Ron) Morrison.
