Elsie Gilbert Holloway, 80, of Vincennes, passed away at 8:15 am Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Lodge of the Wabash.She was born on January 12, 1940 in Vincennes, Indiana to Cecil L. and Helen E. (Wheeler) Gilbert.Elsie attended Riley Elementary School, Clark Junior High School, and graduated from Lincoln High School. Elsie worked at the Holiday Inn and for Harold's Super Market. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, baking, loved to travel but most of all she had a special love for babies.Surviving are her husband William E. Holloway who was her sweetheart as they married April 24, 1993; her children Cecilia F. McNelly Flowers of Waverly, TN, Jeffery Hamilton and his wife Misty of Salina, KS; seven step-children, Cindy Clodfelder and her husband Dave of Vincennes, Paula Ellerman and her husband Dave of Vincennes, Curt Holloway and his wife Brenda of Vincennes, Troy Holloway , Angie Stanley and her husband Bill, Tim Holloway, Doug Holloway and his wife Kelly ; sisters Donna Hall of Vincennes, Patricia Boyd; of Vincennes, her grandchildren Brad (Stephanie) Petelle, Justin (Jessica) Petelle, Joshua (Tai) Catiller, Joey Flowers, David (Kaylin) Flowers, Levi (Ashley) Hamilton, Lindsey Hamilton,, Cierra Hamilton,, Kristopher Hamilton; Great grandchildren Sam Petelle, Jackson Petelle, Charlie Petelle Lilly Petelle, Braxton Catiller, Avery Petelle, Trevor Catiller, Moriah Catiller, Navaeh Hamilton, Jackson Hamilton, Brantley Hamilton, Wyatt Hamilton, Jaiden Clutter, Kaylee Flowers, McKenna Flowers, Raelynn Flowers, Kendri Flowers, and Kylar Flowers. .Step grandchildren Samantha Madison, Jade Stanley, Katie Stanley, Christopher Stanley, Anna Rudolph, Addison Stanley, Andy Clodfelder, Jeremy Ellerman, Tammy Russell, Ryan Cox, Chance Holloway, Cory Holloway, Trysha Holloway, Josh Holloway, Courtney Holloway, Melissa Holloway; great grandchildren Kaitlin Ellerman, Ace Clodfelder, Max Clodfelder, Kylah Ashley, Elijah Lawrence, Jazlynn Cox, Kenna Madison, Noah Madison, Ellarie Weirich, Brantley Stanley, Penelope Stanley.She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Connie McNelly Smith; sisters Romina Thomas Hartzburg and Alice Shafer; brothers Dale Gilbert and Joshua Gilbert; great grandchildren Madison Hamilton, and Harper Rudolph.Graveside services will be 1:30 pm Saturday June 20, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 roadway Vincennes.
