Emma Jennings

Emma Jean Jennings, 87, passed away at the Waters of Princeton in Princeton, IN at 9:02 am on Sunday, October 16, 2022. Emma Jean was born on February 17, 1935, in Saline County, IL and she is the daughter of Tracey and Marguerite (Tucker) Compton. She married Robert Lawrence Jennings on October 20, 1951, and he preceded her in death on November 2, 2010. Emma Jean was a member of the First Christian Church in Owensville and the Order of Eastern Star. She worked for many years as Head Teller for the First National Bank of Owensville as well as many other banks in the area. Survivors include her son, Keith Jennings and his wife Karen of Owensville, IN.; her grandchildren, Kyle Jennings, Kurt Jennings and his wife Mallory, Katelyn Jennings, Carling Dunham and her husband Randy, Lacey Jennings; great grandchildren, Kipp Jennings, Ellie Jennings, Michael Dunham, Eli Dunham, Asher Dunham; and her daughter-in-law, Twila Jennings. Emma Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Tracey and Marguerite Compton, her husband, Robert L. Jennings, and her son Michael Jennings. Friends may visit with Emma Jean's family from 10:00 am until hour of service time of 11:00 am at Holder Funeral Home in Owensville, IN. on Wednesday, October 19, 2021. Emma Jean's funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Templeton officiating and Emma Jean will be laid to rest next to her husband Robert in Owensville Cemetery.
