Eric Wampler

Eric J. Wampler, 27, 2922 Old US 41 South, Vincennes, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 in Brevard, NC following an accident in Glenn Canyon Falls. Born March 24, 1984, in Vincennes, he was the son of Albert L. Wampler and Deanna (Goodman) Witte. His father preceded him in death.Eric was a graduate of North Knox High School and received his bachelor's degree from IUPUI. He was employed at Futaba in the Quality Control Department, attended Ridgecrest Baptist Church and enjoyed working on cars.Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Deanna and James Witte of West Salem, IL; maternal grandfather, Jim Goodman of Vincennes; paternal grandfather, Jim Witte of West Salem; brothers and sisters, Amanda Phillips and her husband Shaun, Adrenne Witte and Jaime Witte all of West Salem, Miranda Wampler of Albion, IL and Al Wampler of Florida; two nieces and one nephew.Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
