Ernestine Hedge

Ernestine Carole Hedge, 74, passed away at 5:12 pm on August 11, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Ernestine was born on February 14, 1942 in Terre haute the daughter of Chauncey and Marguerite (McKenzie) Fagg. She married Bobby Joe Hedge in march of 1960 and he preceded her in death on November 25, 1987.Ernestine was a homemaker and enjoyed photography, painting and knitting.Survivors include her son, Donald Hedge, Sr. and his wife Loretta of Lawrenceville; daughter, Carole Risley of Lawrenceville; son, Billy Joe Hedge and his wife Laurie of Vincennes; daughter, Angie Westfall of Vincennes; daughter, Myra Ferran of Indianapolis; daughter, Jennifer Dennis and her husband Ben of Vincennes; sister, Charlene Fagg of St. Petersburg, FL; twenty grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and her cat Buddy. Ernestine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Ruth Ann Whetstine and four grandchildren.Graveside services for Ernestine will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Irwin Bales officiating. Burial will follow. Friends may visit with Ernestine's family on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway.
