Eulis R. "Jack" Liston, 74, of 1667 Washington Avenue, Vincennes, passed away at 7:18am Friday, May 06, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born November 18, 1936 in Lawrence County, Illinois to Forrest & Ellen (Miller) Liston.Jack retired from SIGEO which was formerly Hoosier Gas, as a serviceman. He was a member of the American Legion and was proud to serve his country in the Army. He enjoyed gardening and taking care of his cows. He loved his family and grandchildren and was an avid Cardinals and Bears fan.Surviving is his wife, Linda (Seals) Liston, whom he married in 1978, three children, Cindy Ann Goodman (Tom) of Vincennes, Ronald Liston (Amberly) of Oaktown, and Deborah Lynn Liston of Evansville, four brothers and sisters, Levera Seaney of Robinson Il, Harry Liston of Nashville, TN, Nadine McCreary of New Palestine, IL, and Gaylord Raymond Liston of New Palestine, Indiana. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Greg Goodman (Andrea), Richard Goodman, David Lhotka, McKaide Lhotka, Paige Liston, Reagan Liston, Connor Liston and Trigg Liston who is on the way.Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, May 10th, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Pete White officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Military Rites will be provided by the American Legion - V.F.W. - 40et8 all weather firing squad. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to 4-H, GSH Cancer Pavilion, or the American Cancer Society.
