Eva Carie

Eva M. Carie, 61, passed away at 3:42 pm Friday, July 25, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Eva was born on September 6, 1952 in Vincennes the daughter of Lester and Olive (Alderson) Bond. She married Joe Carie on November 22, 1969 and he survives.Eva had been a manager for McDonalds for several years and also worked for Sodexho Food Service. She was a member of the Vincennes Moose, Vincennes Eagles and the American Legion. Eva loved camping and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed giving to others and loved her six grandchildren.Survivors include her husband Joe Carie of Vincennes, daughters, Tonia Sievers and her husband Chris of Vincennes, Tina Carie of Vincennes, son, Damon Carie of Vincennes, grandchildren, Bailey Sievers, Tye Carie, Payton Sievers, Jaeden Primus, Willow Carie, Camden Primus; brothers, Jim Bond and his wife Lorna of Vincennes, Ronald Bond and his wife Cindy of Vincennes, Danny Bond and his wife Mae of Vincennes, sisters, Dodie Partridge of Newburgh, Pam VanLue of Vincennes, brothers, Billy VanLue and his wife Crystal of Bloomfield, MO, and Brucie VanLue and his wife Innie of Vincennes. Eva was preceded in death by her father, Lester Bond, brother Kenneth Bond, mother, Olive VanLue and step-father, Bruce VanLue.Funeral services for Eva will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home 524 Broadway, Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with Eva's family from 4:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
