Fannie Lamb

Fannie E. Lamb, 89, of Vincennes, IN, passed away June 6, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospital.Fannie had been the housekeeping supervisor at Daviess Community Hospital. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed baking and fishing.Surviving are her children, Nancy McGavic and her husband, Tom, of Vincennes, IN, Patricia Carey and her husband, Richard, of Ooltewah, TN; her brother, John Brown and his wife, Connie, of Washington, IN; her grandchildren, Mischell Ryder, Saundra Caroll, Brian Carey, and Amanda Corcoran; and her great-grandchildren, Miranda Ryder, Alexis Carey, and Trinity Carey.Born November 19, 1931 in Vincennes, IN, she was the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Litherland) Brown. Her parents; her husband, Robert L. Lamb; her great-grandson, Brice Ryder; her brother, Lewis Brown; and her sisters, Ruth Gilbert and Phyllis Bowling preceded her.Friends may visit with Fannie's family from 10:00 - 12:00 on Friday, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. The funeral will begin at 12:00 at the funeral home, on Friday.
