Florence Cummins

Florence Elizabeth Cummins, 96, passed away at her daughter's residence at 9:10 am on Friday, September 19, 2014. Florence was born on July 30, 1918 in Garo, IN the daughter of Clarence E. and Mary I. (Boyles) Lewis. She married Clebert W. Cummins on August 4, 1937 and he preceded her in death on February 26, 1993.Florence was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting.Survivors include her daughter, Wilma Lucas and her husband Roger of Vincennes; grandchildren, Paula Sanders, Shelly Maurer, Patty Arthur and her husband Dave, Sondra Howder and her husband Hubert, Brenda Vieke and her husband Doug, Ray Cummins and his wife Tabby, Rich Cummins, Kelly Cummins and her husband Tony; nineteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Florence was preceded in death by her children, Mary Barone, Paul Cummins, Clarence Cummins, granddaughter, Rogetta Lynn Lucas and ten brothers and sisters.Funeral services for Florence will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Pastor Ron Fellows officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Florence's family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
