Frances Woolard

Frances E. Woolard, 92, of Vincennes, passed away at 8:36 am Friday, November 1, 2019 at BridgePointe Health Campus.Frances was born December 3, 1926 in Owen County, Indiana to Clyde and Flona (Everly) QueryShe retired from JC Penny as a supervisor in the catalog department. Frances volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital for many years as a pink lady. A member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and served as a brownie leader, den mother for the cub scouts, and a 4-H leader.Surviving are her children, Sandra Truex and her husband Steve and Dustin Woolard and his wife Margo; five grandchildren, Jason Woolard, Janet Woolard, Jadean Neireiter, Thomas Truex, and Michael Truex; seven great grandchildren; a sister Patty: and brothers Marvin, Leland, and Donald.Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, Charles J. Woolard, whom she married on February 15, 1947 and preceded her on March 11, 2019; a sister Virginia; and brothers Walter, Junior, Jack, Oran, Max, and Steven.Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Walker Hatton officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
