Freddy Carl Houston passed away from this life on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville Indiana at the age of 75. He was born on November 12, 1947, in Lee County Alabama. Those left to cherish his memories include his wife Brandy Dickenson Houston, four children Aaron Houston, Andrew Houston MD, Tyler Houston, and Alexander Houston. Seven grandchildren; siblings Diane Halbert husband Roland, and David Houston along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Freddy is preceded in death by his parents Lt. Col. Carl L. Houston, Virginia Tiner Houston, and one brother Teddy Houston. Paternal grandparents Smiley Houston, Granny Houston, Maternal grandparents Luther Tiner, and Ruth Tiner. Freddy attended Auburn University where he received a bachelor's degree in engineering and business administration. He also joined the United States Marine Corp to serve his country during the Vietnam War and was awarded an honorable discharge. He did four tours of Vietnam, Eastern Europe, Central America, and South America. He married Brandy Barrett Dickenson Houston on April 2. Freddy worked as a Group Leader at Toyota and retired in Princeton, Indiana. He was also a member of the Baptist Church. He loved to watch the military channel on tv and tell everyone that he has been there before. He enjoyed watching football and soccer on television also. He loved his family very much. He will be deeply missed by all! Funeral services celebrating the life of Freddy Carl Houston will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the Holder Funeral Home 319 South Main Street Owensville Indiana. Officiating will be Pastor Kevin Miley. Internment will in the Blythe Chapel Cemetery in Owensville, Indiana. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 10. 2022 from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Freddy wants everyone to remember to pay it forward with kindness and respect to each other, Semper Fi. Holder Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with Freddy's arrangements.
