Garnett Mattingly

Christine Mattingly, 91, of 3801 Old Bruceville Road, Vincennes, passed away at 3:00 a.m. Saturday June 18, 2011 in the New Willow Manor.She was born January 27, 1920 in Pike County, Indiana to Oliver & Carrie (Coonce) Robinson. Christine was a member of the Free Methodist Church. A homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, and working out in her yard.Surviving is a brother, Merlin "Mutt" Robinson & his wife Verda of Vincennes, a stepdaughter, Barbara Ferguson of Florida, and a stepson Donald Mattingly of Pueblo, Colorado. Also surviving are several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Mattingly, whom she married on May 12, 1946 and preceded her on December 2, 1988, two brothers and three sisters.Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday June 21, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Pete White officiating.
