Gary Tapley

Gary R. Tapley, 74, of Vincennes, passed away Nov. 26, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born May 26, 1938 in Knox County, Indiana, he was the son of Floyd and Edith (Hanson) Tapley. They preceded him, as well as a sister, Shirley; and a brother, Floyd D. Tapley, Jr. Surviving is his wife, Veronica (Lee) Tapley; sons, Stewart Tapley, Gregory Scott Tapley, Gary Ray (Hope) Tapley II, Paul Andrew Tapley, all of Vincennes, Adam Lee Tapley of Jasper, IN, and Jeff Popka of Evansville, IN; a daughter, Cindy Lou Morgan of West Lafayette, IN; brothers, Neile Tapley, Leroy Tapley, Richard Tapley, all of Vincennes, and Mike Tapley of Ohio; a sister, Rosalie Martindale of Tennessee; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Gary was a minister, serving at the Vincennes Baptist Tabernacle, and was also a gospel singer. He was an Army veteran. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 30, at 1:00, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00
