Georgia V. Frost-Black, 88, passed away at 4:30 am on Saturday October 11, 2014 at her residence. Georgia was born on November 7, 1925 in Oaktown the daughter of George E. and Mary (Followell) Archer. She married James L. Frost and he preceded her in death on April 6, 1988. She then married Charles E. Black and he preceded her in death as well.Georgia retired from Kroger Grocery Store in Indianapolis in 1984 where she had worked in the Pastry Department. She was a member of the Church of God in Bicknell and she enjoyed to read.Survivors include her son, Steven Frost of Sumter, SC, her siblings, Bill Archer, Samuel King, Harley Archer, Lucille Boyll; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special adopted church family, Stephanie and Adam Geary and the light of her life Gabriel Geary. Georgia was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth, Bonnie, Bernadine, Thelma, Selma and her brothers, Paul, Danny, Harry, Arley and Ralph.Funeral services for Georgia will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Rev. Alice Bline and Rev. Harley Archer officiating. Burial will follow in Oaktown Cemetery. Friends may visit with Georgia's family from 5-8 pm on Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home.
