Georgia Hedge

Georgia F. Hedge, 71, 35 E. Swartzel, Vincennes, passed away at 2:57 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at her residence. Born June 10, 1941, in Vincennes, she was the daughter of George Franklin and Helen Elnora (Potter) Crouch.Georgia was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Bethlehem General Baptist Church as well as the Moose, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Eagles Auxillaries. Survivors include her children, Beth Groves and her husband, Howard, of Indianapolis, Robert Hedge and his wife, Susan, of Bicknell, Cindy Hedge, Gaye McCarter and her husband, Marvin, George Groves and his wife, Belinda, David Hedge and his significant other Nancy, and Doug Groves and his wife, Michelle, all of Vincennes; brothers and sisters, Albert "Bud" Crouch and his wife, Sandy, Phyllis Deisher and her husband, Randy, Raymond Watts, John Watts, Joann Thompson and Vonda Blessinger all of Vincennes; and grandchildren, Heath and Hunter Groves, Derek and Garret Hedge, Brent Black and Brandy Meyers, Heather Pena, Erica Bilskie, Wendy Groves, Quincey White, Hailey Groves and Alecia Groves and great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Stevenson, Brennen Meyers, Brelynn Meyers, Neaveh Meyers, Kelby Black, Meredith Black, Anabel Pena, Izek Pena, Gavan Carpenter, Allison Bilskie, Mason Bilskie, Lilly White and Kourtney Madison.Preceding Georgia in death were her husband, Donald E. Hedge, who passed away January 7, 2010; and brothers, David Crouch and Jack Crouch and sister, Virginia Crouch.Funeral services will be held Monday, February 6 at 11:00 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. with Pastor Pete White officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
