Gerald Burke

Gerald Burke, 71, of Vincennes, IN passed away on August 21, 2022. He was born in Vincennes, IN on December 27, 1950, to the late Lawrence and Philomena (Cardinal) Burke. Jerry graduated from Lincoln High School. He worked as the kitchen manager for Colonial Assisted Living until his retirement. Jerry enjoyed many things in life such as singing karaoke, going to the casino, playing the organ, and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Jerry will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his parents; partner Bill Menke; and siblings Helen Burke McCrary, Sharon Stephens, and Jim Burke. Jerry is survived by his children Josh (Tami) Burke, Julia (Pete) Conrad, Jeremy Burke; grandchildren Kelsie Burke, Gabby Burke, Noah Burke, Hunter Burke, Ben Burke, Austin Greubel, Peyton Greubel, Wyatt Burke; great-grandchildren Owen Fuentes, Bo Burke, Judson Burke; dogs Little Boy, Oden, Faith; nieces Barbara Watkins, Peggy Blann, Patricia Leal; nephews Larry Burke, Ted Burke, Mike Burke, Tom Burke, Donnie Stephens, Keith Stephens; and many friends. Goodwin-Sievers is honored and entrusted with the care of Mr. Burke. Visitation will be Friday, September 2, 2022, at 524 Broadway St. from 11a-1p EST. A funeral service will be held Friday, September 2, 2022, at 1p with burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery to follow.
