Gerald Rickard

Gerald "Gary" Eugene Rickard, Jr., 68, of Vincennes, passed away at 1:38 pm Thursday, June 13, 2019 at his residence.Born on July 4, 1950 in Vincennes, Indiana, he was the son of Gerald E. and Betty (Ravellette) Rickard, Sr.Gary retired after 43 years from Wabash Steel/Vincennes Steel. He was a member of the Eagles and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.Surviving are his children, Heather Lytle of Vincennes, Keith Rickard of Vincennes, Joseph Rickard and his wife Victoria of Oaktown, and Leslie Brewer and her husband John of Monroe City; a brother Charles Rickard of Vincennes; his sisters, Vicki Schenbeck of Sullivan, IN and Brenda Daggett of Bruceville; along with six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald E. Rickard Sr.; his mother Betty Chattin; and two brothers, Richard and Donald Rickard.Friends may visit with Gary's family from 3 to 6 Sunday at Goodwin Funeral Home.
