Geraldine Sue "Jeri" Horton, 77, of Vincennes, passed away at 9:14 am Tuesday June 27, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital.She was born February 25, 1940 in Vincennes to Oscar and Connie (Perry) Steele.Jeri worked as a Certified Nurse's Aide for many years at various nursing homes. She enjoyed reading, especially Danielle Steele novels, and talking with her friends on the phone while watching movies. Jeri loved her family, especially her grandchildren.Surviving are her two sons; Jeff (Tammy) Horton of Vincennes and Dean (Trish) Horton of Vincennes; her grandchildren, Amy (Joe) Stork, and Dr. Joshua Dean Horton; and her great grandchildren, Jozie Stork, Emma Stork, Layne Horton, and Lennon "Pete" Horton.A Celebration of Jeri's Life will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:00 am on Thursday July 6, 2017 with Pastor Paul Gray officiating.
