Gertie Kincaid

Gertie M. Kincaid, 75, of 501 Hart, Vincennes, passed away at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Gentle Care Nursing Home.She was born December 10, 1937 in Hawesville, Kentucky to Pete and Ethel (Estridge) Leslie.Gertie worked as a nurse's aide for 35 years for Crestview Nursing Home and was a member of the Church on the Street.Surviving is a son, Douglas Kincaid and his fiance, Brenda Turner of Vincennes, along with her grandchildren, Charlene "Charlie" Kincaid, Tabatha Kincaid, Heather Kincaid, and Tyler Kincaid.She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers and sisters; Delbert Leslie, Dorothy Banks, Robert Leslie, Pete Leslie Jr., Henry Leslie, Virginia "Jenny" Riddle, Louise Leslie, and Bernard Leslie.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Nocus officiating.
