Gillis Henzman

Gillis J. Henzman, of Vincennes, IN, passed away February 17, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospital.Gillis had worked in home health care. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Quilting was also a favorite thing for her to do. Gillis was a spiritual person.Born October 21, 1946, in Beech Grove, IN, she was the daughter of Ramey and Alice (Tearman.) Henzman. Her parents; her son, Jerry Chestnut; and her daughter, Rebecca Chestnut preceded her.Surviving is her son, Gary Chestnut of Vincennes, IN; her daughter, Bonnie Gould-Hanlon of Florida; her sisters, Sally Dobson and Nancy Henzman; her grandchildren, Raven Chestnut, Alisa Chestnut, Samantha Chestnut, and Curtis Chestnut; and several great-grandchildren.Gillis's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service may be announced at a later date.
