Glendon Hayes

Glendon S. "Glen Hayes, 61, passed away at 12:17 pm on January 31, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. Glen was born on April 2, 1957 in Jasper the son of Jimmie and Vonda (Bradfield) Hayes. He married Tammy "Moe" Emmons on September 3, 2017 and she survives.Glen was a member of Twin Oaks Church in Petersburg and a heavy equipment operator. He loved hot rod cars and also loved to work on them. He also loved drag-racing in his younger years. Glen was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Washington.Survivors include his wife, Tammy "Moe" Hayes of Washington; his parents, Jimmie and Vonda Hayes of Petersburg; children, Jeremy Bell of Petersburg, Scott Shoultz of Indianapolis, Chris Hayes of Washington, Jimmie Hayes of Washington; sisters, Darlene Mottern of Indianapolis, Rhea Turner of Petersburg, Rhonda Hayes, Tony Hayes of Velpen, IN, Randy Hayes of Petersburg; and several grandchildren.Glen will be cremated at his request and a graveside will be held at Twin Oaks Cemetery in Petersburg and announced at a later date.
