Glenn Thomas "T-Mac" McReynolds, 66, of Vincennes, passed away February 26, 2016, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.Tom attended grade school at Consolidated #1, now known as Franklin Elementary School. He graduated from Mt. Vernon, IN High School in 1967. While there he played football, baseball, ran track, and wrestled. He wrestled in the Indiana State Finals. Tom attended St. Mary's College in Maryland, and Indiana State University in Evansville, IN. During post graduate studies, he completed archeological classes at the Smithsonian Institute. Through PBS and the History Channel, he never stopped learning.Tom lived life to the fullest. He was a giving man, and thoroughly enjoyed the sound of young children's laughter. His musical tastes were eclectic, listening to among others, Etta James, Christina Aguilara, and Pink Floyd. An avid duck hunter, he loved competing in spot shoots, primarily at the Bruceville Rod and Gun Club. Despite his health conditions, T-Mac won many spot shoots against sighted competition. Tom was a huge fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and the LSU Tigers. Especially enjoyable was time spent with family and friends.A retired electrician and scale technician, he was retired from Norris Scale Co. in Sullivan, IN. He also worked in the welding industry, and was a member of the Carpenter's Union. Other memberships included the Mt. Vernon American Legion and the Bruceville Rod and Gun club.Born June 23, 1949 in Vincennes, he was the son of Eugene and Dorothy Simison. Tom was raised by his maternal grandparents, Reese and Susie McReynolds.Surviving is his loving partner of 20 years, Jane Clark; his mother, Dorothy Gross of Mt. Vernon, IN; his daughters, who he adored and was extremely proud of, Souhaila Richardson, a medical doctor, and her husband, Matthew, of Indianapolis, Leila Wilkins, a nurse anesthetist, and her husband, Matt, of Jackson, MS, and Samia Coker, an architect, and her husband, Kevin, of Atlanta , GA; grandchildren, Matthew, Elijah, Ryland, and Cole Richardson of Brownsburg, IN, Olivia, Sophia, and baby (on the way) Wilkins of Brandon, MS, and Davis, Max, and baby (on the way) Coker of Alpharetta, GA.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, at 12:00, at Goodwin Funeral Home, with Rev. Dennis Latta officiating. Friends may visit with Tom's family from 10 - 12 on Saturday.Jane and T-Mac would like to thank his friends who made his life full and enjoyable after some physical challenges. They include Lanny Long, Judy Long, Jamie and Olivia Lankford, Dave Wade, Kizzy Wilson, Bill Bishop, and all of his friends at the Knights of Columbus, Pea-Fections, and the Bruceville Rod and Gun Club.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rivet Lady Patriots High School Basketball Team, or the charity of the donor's choice.
