Gregg Golden

Gregg F. Golden, 66, of Vincennes, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 20, 2014, after a battle with cancer. Gregg grew up in Rockville, IN, and graduated from high school there in 1965. In 1970, he graduated from Purdue. He was a practicing pharmacist for 43 years, and last worked at JR Pharmacy in Terre Haute, IN. Born Sept. 17, 1947, in Gary, IN, he was the son of Nelson F. and Mary Avonelle (McAuliffe) Golden. They preceded him, as well as his wife, Mary Susan (Stoelting) Golden. She passed away Dec. 7, 2002. Surviving is his daughter, Becky Golden (Chris), of Terre Haute, his sister, Mary Anne (Ron) Vencel of Terre Haute, IN; and a wonderful group of friends and neighbors. A memorial will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Knox County Humane Society or the Good Samaritan Hospital Hospice.
