Harold Coleman

Harold L. Coleman, 88, of Haubstadt, IN passed away January 20, 2022. He was born in Gibson County, IN July 22, 1933 to the late Paul D. Coleman and Ermadall (Callis) Coleman. Harold attended and graduated from Owensville High School in 1951. He proudly served his country in the US Army from April 7, 1954 - April 6, 1956. Harold returned from service to marry the love of his life, Sharon Coleman, on February 16, 1957. He worked as an Operations Supervisor for Delta Airlines for 33 years. Upon retirement he was also employed by Gibson, Pike, and Warrick special education cooperative services, as a bus driver for 28 years. He loved the children and his job. He was a member of New Liberty Church, The Masonic Lodge, and a proud KY Colonel. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and especially spending time with family and friends. Harold was known for his positive attitude, quick wit, and he never met a stranger. He was loved deeply and will be missed by so many. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Richard Coleman. Harold is survived by his wife Sharon Coleman; daughters Tonja (Paul) Beuligmann and Tamara Cox; brother Donnie (Doris) Coleman; sister-in-law Betty Coleman; 5 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Holder's Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Coleman. A military graveside service will be held at Owensville Cemetery on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 12:30.
