Harold Fitzgerald

Harold "Bud" Gene Fitzgerald, 92, went to be with the Lord at 2:50 pm on March 22, 2019 at Eastgate Manor. He was born on July 22, 1926 in Washington, Indiana the son of Clinton and Inez (Purcell) Fitzgerald.Bud retired from Western Southern Insurance and was a devoted member of the First Christian Church and served his country in WWII in the United States Army.Those left to cherish Bud's memories' include his wife Noralea (Roberts) Fitzgerald whom he married on November 14, 1947; his children, Linda Jean Casper of Washington, Richard Fitzgerald and his wife Sharon of Washington; 5 Grandchildren, 9 Great grandchildren and one great great grandson; his sisters Judy Williams of Odon, Ruth Ellen Potter of Washington; and his brother Kenneth Fitzgerald of Washington;Bud was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Mary Anne Schriefer; his sisters, Virginia Arthur, Betty Doty, Mary Jane Fitzgerald, his brothers, Dean Fitzgerald, Joseph Fitzgerald, Bill Fitzgerald; and one great granddaughter.Friends may visit with Bud's family on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from Noon until 2:00 pm at Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Pike County with Rev. Byron Holtsclaw officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice, 3745 N Newton St. Suite 150, Jasper, IN 47546 .
