Harold Wagner

Harold "Bud" Wagner, 94, formerly of Widner Township, passed away August 18, 2013, at the Lodge of the Wabash.Bud lived all of his life in the house that he was born in and farmed the ground that had been in the family since 1882. He had resided in the Lodge of the Wabash for the last several years. Playing Bingo and many different games in the activity room was a favorite pastime. He also spent many hours putting together puzzles and had them displayed in his room. Bud was a member of the Bethel Church in Freelandville.Born July 23, 1919, in Widner Township, he was the son of William and Anna (Snyder) Wagner. They preceded him, as well as four sisters and one brother.Surviving their beloved ‘Uncle Bud' are his nieces and nephews, Jessie "Sue" (Green) (Jim) Milliganof Vincennes, Carolyn Spanger of Vincennes, and Mary Ann (Green) Stone (Paul) of Franklin, IN; great nieces and nephews, Cindy (Milligan) Pagan (Mickey) of Vincennes, David Milligan (Sharon) of Evansville, IN, Sunny (Stone) Jungclaus (David) of Brownstown, IN, Karen (Stone) Stricker (David) of Indianapolis, IN, Kerry Stone of Hammond, IN, and Kevin Stone (Pat) of Munster, IN; great-great nieces and nephews, Christy (Vaughn) Laue (Eric) of Bedford, TX, Brittany (Vaughn) Lynch (Blake) of Noblesville, IN, Katie Vaughn of Raleigh, NC, Bethany Vaughn of Louisville, KY, Lori (Milligan) Tremblay (Jason) of Barre, VT, Mindy (Milligan) Harrington (Justin) of New Albany, IN, Kyla Jungclaus of Louisville, KY, Abbey Jungclaus of Brownstown, IN, Amanda Stricker of Indianapolis, IN, Jake Stricker of Indianapolis, IN, and Megan and Melissa Stone of Munster, IN; and great-great-great nieces and nephews, Liam Tremblay of Barre, VT, Rouge Tremblay of Barre, VT, Reese Harrington, Ty Harrington, and Gage Harrington, all of New Albany, and Colton Laue of Bedford, TX.The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 10:00 - 11:30, at the Bethel Church in Freelandville, IN. The funeral service will begin at 11:30. Committal services will follow at the church cemetery. Goodwin Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you contribute to your favorite charity.
