Hazel Fields

Hazel Elizabeth Fields, 62, passed away at 2:55 pm on November 30, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Hazel was born on December 27, 1952 in Vincennes the daughter of Ralph Eugene Sr. and Georgia Helen (Morris) Wininger. Hazel was a member of Life Pentecostal Church where she enjoyed helping out in any way she could. She also enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Ellis Fields, Sr. of Vincennes; her son, Ellis Fields, Jr. and his wife Gina, daughter, Crystal Fields; mother, Georgia Wininger of Plainfield; brothers, Ralph Wininger, Jr. of Vincennes, Steve Wininger of Bridgeport, Gary Wininger of Vincennes; sisters, Mary Lemons of Vincennes, Terry May of Vincennes, Julie Hussey of Evansville, Stacie Eljirby of Plainfield, Helena Hernandez of Plainfield; two grandchildren, one great grandchild and one on the way, five step grandchildren; several brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews. Hazel was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Wininger, Sr. and brother, Jerry Wininger. Funeral services for Hazel will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Pastor Jerry Stumler officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Hazel's family on Friday from noon until the hour of service time of 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
