Hazel Greentree

Hazel Belle (Carson) Greentree (80) passed away Monday, October 20th at Lodge of the Wabash in Vincennes, IN. Hazel was born March 17th, 1934 in Vincennes, the daughter of Hubert (Shine) and Molly (Buchanan) Carson.Hazel retired from Johnson Controls in 1987. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. She loved her family and friends and helped anyone who needed it. Hazel was a member of the Harmony Society and the UAW. Hazel enjoyed watching sports and was an avid college basketball fan. She will be sincerely missed by her family and friends.Survivors include her granddaughter Jennifer Herrold and her husband Clint of Arcadia, Fl; grandson Jesse Deem and his wife Valerie of Bloomington, IN; sister Barbara Claycomb and her husband William of Vincennes, IN; brother Hubert (Butch) Carson and his wife Gwen of Terre Haute, IN; ex-husband William Greentree of Vincennes, IN; great grandchildren, Molly and Emma Cardinal, Lillian Herrold; several nieces and nephews; cousins, friends and neighbors.She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and daughter Jacqueline Joann (Greentree) Brewer. Visitation will be from 4pm-7pm on Friday, October 24th at Goodwin Funeral Home.. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday Oct. 25th at the funeral home.
