Helen Hunter

Helen R. Hunter, 97, of Vincennes, IN, passed away October 28, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospital.Helen had worked as a nurse's aide at Good Samaritan Hospital for 25 years. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church.Born February 3, 1921, in Fritchton, IN, she was the daughter of John McKee and Mary E. (Jones) McKee - Smith. Her parents; her husband, Robert Hunter who passed away May 13, 1987; four brothers; four sisters; and a great-grandchild, Kassidy Hunter preceded her.Surviving is her daughter, Kay Hunter of Vincennes, IN; her sons, Robert Hunter and his wife, Ruth Etta, of Vincennes, IN, and Roy Hunter and his wife, Carol, of Vincennes, IN; her grandchildren, Alicia Scheirmann of Vincennes, IN, Kyle Hunter of Indianapolis, IN, Duane Hunter and his wife, Kelly, of Vincennes, IN; and Kevin Hunter and his wife, Heather, of Vincennes, IN; and his great-grandchildren, Makenzie Scheirmann, Sydney Hunter, Jaclyn Hunter, Jayden Hunter, and Brody Hunter.Helen's funeral will be conducted at 12:00 on Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may visit with her family from 10:00 - 12:00 on Wednesday. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.Donations may be made to either Good Samaritan Hospice or the Free Methodist Church.
