Helen Mccoy

Helen Darlene McCoy went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in Vincennes, Indiana at the age of 90. She was born on Tuesday, September 29, 1931 in Lawrenceville Illinois. Those left to cherish her memories include son Victor L. McCoy Jr., daughter Rosanna Stubblefield husband Billy, son Stephen R. McCoy and wife Lisa, son John Douglas McCoy, daughter Gail Vaughn husband Noel, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Victor L. McCoy Sr., father Guy David Ballard, mother Violet Ravelette Ballard, along with twelve other siblings. Helen Darlene McCoy graduated from Lincoln High School in Vincennes and went on met the love of her life Victor L. McCoy Sr. and got married on June 29, 1949. She was a member of the Community United Methodist Church, In Vincennes, Indiana. She loved to listen and sing gospel music either in church or at home. She loved the outdoors and working in her garden. She loved her church and serving the Lord was the most important thing for her, along with taking care of family and spending all the time with them that she could. Reading her Bible daily, and she loved to cook also. The Chicago Cubs is her favorite baseball team, she would cheer them on during a game and she would get on to the players if they messed up during the game. She will be deeply missed by all! Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 10:15 am at the Memorial Park Cemetery 919 Willow Street Vincennes, Indiana. Officiating will be Pastor Scott Rasico. Under the direction of Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home Vincennes, Indiana. Visitation for Helen Darlene McCoy will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 9:00 am until 10:00 am at the Goodwin Sievers Garner Brockman Chapel on 505 Main Street Vincennes, Indiana.
