Helen Irene walker, 98, of Lawrenceville, Illinois died at 8:30 am Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at her home. Helen was a long time resident of Vincennes, Indiana.She was born February 5, 1915 in Wheatland, Indiana, the daughter of Benjamin and Kathryn (Walton) Howell.She is survived by two sons, Danny Lee Goss and wife; Linda Goss of Lawrenceville, IL; Karl Elmore Goss and wife Donna Goss of Granite City, IL; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great- great grandchild.Ms. Walker was preceded in death by five brothers.Helen was truly one of a kind and loved by all. She enjoyed family get togethers, sitting on her porch, visiting with friends, growing flowers and spending precious time with her loyal companion Harley.Helen was retired from former Hamilton Glass now Schotts Gemtron.Graveside services will be held for Helen at 2:30 EST on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Wesley Hahn officiating.
