Hildegarde Perry

Jean I. Perry, 89, passed away at 2:30 pm on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Jean was born on December 20, 1925 the daughter of Jacob and Antonetta (Brosner) Tretter. She married Horace Perry on December 27, 1947 and he preceded her in death on May 28, 1996.Jean worked for Hoover Ball and Bearing and enjoyed her winters in Florida with her husband. After his death she continued going to Florida where she enjoyed dinners and Bingo at the Community Club with her friends. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the love of her life and enjoyed every moment she spent with them.Survivors include her son, Rod Perry and his wife Sharon of Freelandville; daughter, Debbie Parish of Vincennes; grandchildren, Tracy Perry, Scott Parish, Missy McCutchan, Lisa Bloebaum, Mallory VanWynsberghe and eleven great grandchildren. Hildegarde was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers, Frank, Leroy, Don and David Tretter and sister Margaret Wagner.Funeral services for Jean will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home, 505 Main Street with Rev. Ray Tromley officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Jeans family from 1:00 pm until the hour of service time of 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
