Howard Stricklin

Howard Marshall Stricklin, 84, of Vincennes, passed away November 8, 2017, at Willow Manor.Howard was an electrician and a member of the IBEW. He often worked in power plants. During the Korean War, he served in the Navy aboard the USS Alsteed.Surviving are his children, Martha Lopez of Odessa, TX, Howard R. Stricklin of Loogootee, IN, Norm Stricklin of Vincennes, IN, and Missy Jo Kahre of Vincennes, IN; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.Born August 15, 1933, in Johnsonville, TN, he was the son of George Marshall and Missy Mildred (Oguin) Stricklin. His parents; his wife, Mary (Blessinger) Stricklin, who passed away May 30, 2003; his son, Henry Franklin Stricklin; and several brothers and sisters preceded him.A graveside service will be held on Monday, at Memorial Park Cemetery, at 2:00.
