Hoyt A. Davis

Hoyt A. Davis, 57, of Vincennes, IN passed away June 5, 2024. He was born in Vincennes, IN on November 30, 1966, to the late William and Constance (Smith) Davis. Hoyt graduated from Deerfield High School in 1985. He is currently employed by Farbest Foods Inc. since their opening in Vincennes. Prior to that he was employed for 15+ years with Perdue Farms in Washington, IN. Hoyt married Rita Howder on April 23, 2001. He was a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan.

In Hoyt's free time, he enjoyed playing computer games, driving his mustang, going on cruises, golfing, and spending time with his beloved family. He will be deeply missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Constance; granddaughter Cameron White.

Hoyt is survived by his wife Rita Davis; children Garrett Davis, Erinn (Roger) Stremming, Kacy (Cameron) Mitchko, Shauna White, Leslie (Keith) Halter, Lori Cooper, Jenny (James Jr.) Hodge, Angie (Kyle) Bennett; grandchildren Ethan Halter, Braylen Bennett, Kaly Hendrixson, Elizabeth Halter, Preslee Bennett, Caden Bennett, Lane Bennett, and Baby Stremming; brother Danny (Sandy) Davis; nephew Billy Davis; niece Jessica Davis; and several friends.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Davis. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 11 am to service time at 524 Broadway Street. Funeral service will begin promptly at 1 pm with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery to follow.
