Hubert Howder

Hubert Howder passed away from this life on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the age of 61 at his residence in Bruceville, Indiana. He was born on November 8, 1960, in Vincennes, Indiana. Those left to cherish his memories include the love of his life, wife and best friend Sondra Howder, five children Lucas Howder, wife Aubrey, Cody Howder wife Leslie, Holly Johnson husband Shane, Sara Howder , Matthew Howder, seven grandchildren Daylen Howder, Aleena Howder, Kalliope Howder, Avia Johnson, Greyson Johnson, Cruz Johnson, Nicholas McPherson, five siblings Gloria Howder, Dennis Howder, Teresa Merydith, Sandra Heath, Brian Cullop, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Hubert Franklin Howder, mother Mary Ann Williams Howder, stepfather Jim Cullop, two brother in laws Steve Heath, and Rob Merydith. Hubert Howder graduated from Lincoln High School in Vincennes in the class of 1979 went on to serve in the United States Marine Corp. He returned to Vincennes and went on to Vincennes University and graduated in 1988 with an associate degree in Graphic Art and Design. He met the love of his life and married Sondra on February 28, 1987, in Vincennes. He loved his family very much. Spending tine with the grandchildren and his own children was very important to him. He enjoyed going fishing, mushroom hunting, and being outdoors when he could. Lava lamps was his favorite hobby. He loved to make them as a hobby. He loved his animals too. He will be deeply missed by all. Visitation for Hubert Howder will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home 524 Broadway Street Vincennes, Indiana.
