Ina Stafford

Ina Mae Stafford, 78, of Wheatland, IN went to be with the Lord June 29, 2022. She was born in Robinson, IL on December 26, 1943, to the late Nelson and Amanda (Hout) Purcell. Ina Mae graduated from Palestine High School in 1962. Following High School she married the love of her life, Doyle Stafford, on June 24, 1962. Ina Mae was a proud member of the Walnut Grove Church in Monroe City. She enjoyed many things in life such as painting, teaching piano, flower gardening, playing Bunco, spending time with her family, teaching vacation bible school, playing board games, and traveling the United States with her husband. Ina will be deeply missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Richard D. Purcell. Ina Mae is survived by her husband, of 60 years, Doyle Stafford; children Tina (Scott) Carie and Tony (Tammy) Stafford; and sister Mary Louise Hare. Goodwin-Sievers is honored and entrusted with the care of Mrs. Stafford. Visitation will be held on July 5, 2022 from 10- 12 at 524 Broadway St. Vincennes, IN. Funeral service will be July 5, 2022 at 12pm with burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Monroe City, IN following. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. The family want to give special thanks to the Amber Manor family for all their kindness and care for Ina Mae.
