Irene Roberts

Irene A. Roberts, 99, passed away at 12:10 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Willow Manor Nursing Home. Born August 25, 1912, in Knox County, she was the daughter of Homer and Dora (Klein) Henderson.Irene graduated from Lincoln High School in 1930 and Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing in 1933. She loved nursing and entertaining her many friends in Flint, Michigan where she lived for many years.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Arnold Webster, who she married in 1936 and Harry Roberts who she married in 1974; two brothers, Hugh Henderson and Evan Henderson; one sister, Mabel McCormick and one nephew, Ray McCormick.Survivors include one sister, Ethelmae Walker of Vincennes. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Sharon Cullison, Terry and Janet Goodman and Gary and Genny Walker all of Vincennes, IN; Mike and Connie Parker of Florida; and Kim and Barb Henderson of Carmel, IN.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev.
