Jack R. Westfall, 76, of Vincennes, passed away at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at his residence.He was born January 12, 1938 in Vincennes to Claude and Grace (Holt) Westfall.Jack served his country in the Army for 3 years and then worked at Packaging Corporation of America, which he retired from after 39 years. His memberships included the American Legion, VFW, 40 et 8, Masonic Lodge, Shrine, and the Moose. Jack proudly served on the American Legion-VFW-40 et 8 All Weather Firing Squad.Surviving are his twin sons, Steven Westfall of Vincennes, Terry Westfall of Newburgh; his daughter, Stacy (Kevin) Goodman of Vincennes; his brother, Larry (Mary) Westfall of Kerville, Texas; his grandchildren, Brittany Westfall, Kaylee Goodman, Kristen Goodman, Dalton Goodman; a great grandchild, Isaac Westfall; his fianc, Hazel Bilskie; her children, Joanna (Scott) Davis and Steve Bilskie; and her grandchildren, Danny and Brittney Davis; and several nieces and nephews.Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife Shirley (Cochran) Westfall, whom he married in 1961 and preceded him in death in 1999; and two brothers, Hugh and Claude Westfall. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2015 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Tromley officiating. Burial will follow in the Upper Indiana Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until the service on Friday. Military rites will be performed by the American Legion VFW 40 et 8 all weather firing squad.
