Jackie Lee Foster, 55, of Vincennes, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital with his family at his side.He was born August 23, 1957 to Arthur and Annabelle (Eaton) Foster and was the youngest of 13 siblings. Jack was disabled and had worked for the Vincennes City Sanitation department, Siever's Processing, and for various farmers on Main street road. Riding his moped, listening to country music, watching television, fishing, gardening, and cooking were some of his hobbies. Jack enjoyed his family and friends and was always willing to give his help to others.Surviving are two sons, Jamie Foster and his girlfriend Andrea Williams of Lawrenceville, Justin Foster who is serving in the Navy near Caimanera, Guantanamo Cuca; four brothers, Ted Foster of Winslow, Gene, Gary, and Charles Foster of Vincennes; four sisters, Mettie Rhoades of Ramsey, IN, Suzanne Tapley, Sandy Greentree, and Sharon Smith, all of Vincennes. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Blayr Foster of Washington, and Mackinzie Foster of Lawrenceville and his step grandchildren, Sydni Williams, Jadlyn Williams, and Braden Williams.He was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers, Raymond, Issac, Jim, and Danny Foster.Funeral services will be at Noon on Monday, September 24, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Pete White officiating. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
