James A. Laue, 94, of Vincennes, IN, passed away at his home on November 9, 2020. Jim served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. A graduate of Lincoln High School, he was retired from Hamilton Glass. An avid sports fan, he followed the St. Louis Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, and the Indiana University Hoosiers. Jim was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Surviving are his children, Debbie Conrad of Vincennes, IN, Becky Willis and her husband, Fritz, of Wheatland, IN, James K. Laue and his wife, Susan, of Vincennes, IN, Kathy Ferran of Vincennes, IN, and Karen Rasico and her husband, Doug, of Vincennes, IN; his sister, Rita Kavanaugh of Lawrenceville, IL; seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Born November 16, 1925, in Vincennes, IN, he was the son of George Earl and Anna Marie (Hartle) Laue. His parents; his wife, Ruby Darlene (Spore) Laue, whom he wed July 2, 1949, and who passed away March 21, 2017; his son, Stephen Kent Laue; and his brothers, Kenneth, Robert, and Joseph Laue, preceded him. A private family service will be held on Friday, at 2:00, at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family requests that no flowers be sent. Instead, donations may be made to St. Francis Xavier Parish.
