James Alan Elsey

James Alan Elsey, 64, passed away at his residence on February 4, 2025. Jim was born on December 7, 1960 the son of Robert and Helen (Payne) Elsey.
Jim had been employed at Hoosier Magnetics as an operator for over two decades and recently retired as an operator for Don Gress Construction. Jim enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren in their sporting events.
Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Benner and her husband Ryan of Petersburg, IN; son Tyler Elsey and his wife Kelsey of Washington, IN; his siblings, Judy Clark and her husband Joe of Bicknell, IN Ginny Burkhardt and her husband Randy of Washington, IN, Bob Elsey and his wife Donna of Terre Haute, IN, Kathleen Allison of Washington, IN, his grandchildren, Kade and Jett Benner and Bentley and Peyton Elsey. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Helen Elsey.
