James A. Freeman, 67, of Wheatland, IN passed away August 11, 2021. He was born May 21, 1954 in Hammond, IN to the late James A. Freeman Sr. and Norma (Peach) Warner. James was best known for helping the community of Wheatland, cutting grass, and enjoying his morning coffee. He will be greatly missed by all. James was preceded in death by his parents and brother Charles Freeman. He is survived by his long-time companion Tammy Johnson; children Joshua (Sarah) McKinney, Jacklynn Freeman, Kayla McKinney, James Freeman III, and Jesse (Jaylyn) Freeman; siblings Patricia "Pat" Henson, Peggy Gordon, Elmer Warner, Randy Warner, and Tommy Warner; 10 grandchildren; furry companions Diesel, Lucy, Apollo, Angel and Hondo; and many nieces and nephews.
