James Richard Roberson, 73, of 9878 State Road 550, Wheatland, passed away at 2:43 a.m. July 21, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born October 9, 1939 in Wheatland to Waldo and Martha (Patrick) Roberson.Jim worked at the Vincennes paper mill early on and then drove a truck for himself. He retired from Elmer Buchta trucking and attended the Royal Oak Methodist Church.Surviving are his children, Tina (Ronald) Adams of Vincennes, Tracey Kaiser of Vincennes, Shelly Roberson of Richmond, and Curt Roberson of Wheatland; a brother, Kenny Roberson of Washington; his grandchildren, Autumn (Justin) Memering, James Kaiser, Courtney Adams, Melissa Adams, Samantha Adams, and Justine (Christopher) Tracey; and his great grandchildren, Meeya Sears, Skylar Memering, Adylen Memering, Curtis Tracey, and Sarah Tracey.Preceding Jim in death were his parents, a brother, Ronny Roberson, and a sister, Sue Ann Roberson.Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday July 24, at Royal Oak Cemetery.
