James Thomas

James E. Thomas passed away from this life on Thursday, April 14, 2022, in Vincennes, Indiana at the age of 86. He was born on June 10, 1935, in Vincennes, Indiana. Those left to cherish his memories include his four children James A. Thomas, Sherri Ricketts husband Todd, Tim Thomas wife Louann, Penny Yates husband Curt, Nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife and best friend, Betty Graham Thomas, father James Henry Thomas, mother Hazel Miller Thomas, two sisters Edna Miller, Betty Edwards, and one brother Edward Thomas. James E. Thomas was a member of the Bethlehem General Baptist Church in Vincennes for many years. He worked for Essex Wire for many years. He loved his family very much. He enjoyed traveling, miniature golf, researching the family tree, working in yard, and loved old cars. St Louis Cardinals was his favorite baseball team. He will be deeply missed by all! Graveside services celebrating the life of James E. Thomas will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 11:15 am at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, Indiana. Officiating will be Trevor Murry. Under the direction of Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home Vincennes, Indiana. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home 524 Broadway Street Vincennes, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
