James Thompson

James A. "Jimmy JT" Thompson, 61 of Bicknell, IN passed away at 11:10 am on April 3, 2022. Jimmy was born on July 26, 1960, to the late James J. and Mildred Thompson of Bruceville, IN. Jimmy JT attended North Knox High School and worked for the Knox County Highway Department for thirty-five years as a road grater operator. Jimmy JT is survived his girlfriend of twenty years, Tammy Cavenaugh; son, Andrew B. Thompson and his wife Kristi of Petersburg, IN; daughter, Laura L. Thompson and her fiance, Logan Ravellette of Monroe City, IN; eight grandchildren, Heaven, Wyatt, Josey, Hunter, Grayson, Noah, Aria, and Ally; sister, Julie Schulze and her husband Steve of Oaktown, IN; nieces, Stephanie Malafarina and her husband Mark of Cleveland, OH, Diane Schulze of Indianapolis, IN, Angela Watts of Waveland, MS, and Jamie Julian of Petersburg, KY, Danielle Thompson; and nephew, Frank Bybee of Ocean Springs, MS. Jimmy JT is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Janice, brother Bruce, as well as eighteen aunts and uncles.
