James Threlkeld

James Raymond Threlkeld passed away from this life on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the age of 85 in Vincennes, Indiana. He was born May 9th, 1936, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Those left to cherish his memories include two daughters Mary Jane Threlkeld Steffey husband Steven M. Steffey, Peggy Threlkeld Gilliatt husband Richard, seven grandchildren, seventeen greatgrandchildren, two great-greatgrandchildren, one sister Carol Jean Threlkeld Landrey, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Catherine Louise Taylor Threlkeld, daughter, Betty Threlkeld Fox son in law Thomas Fox, son in law Richard Gilliatt, father Charles Threlkeld, Mother Mary Threkeld, and two brothers. James Raymod Threkeld graduated from high school and went on to work for Vincennes Steel until retired as a foreman there for many years. He meets the love of his live and best friend Catherine Louise Taylor and was married on August 3, 1957, in Vincennes, Indiana. He loved his family very much. He loved his job also. He will be deeply missed by all. Graveside services celebrating the life of James Raymond Threlkeld will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, Indiana on April 26, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Officiating will be Trevor Murry. Under the direction of Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home Vincennes, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice House.
