James Wessel

James "Jim" H. Wessel. 71, passed away at 12:42 pm on May 2, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Jim was born on July 31, 1950 in Vincennes and was the son of John and Martha (Simmons) Wessel. Jim retired from Wabash Food Services as Warehouse Foreman and was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. He enjoyed farming, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Parker and her husband Ryan of Oaktown, and his three grandchildren, Kennedy Edwards, Cora Edwards, and Leigha Parker. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Wessel. Graveside services celebrating the life of Jim will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery and Pastor Nathan Rastl will officiate.
