Jan C. Knox, 66, of Vincennes, IN passed away August 23, 2024. She was born in Vincennes, IN on November 9, 1957, to the late James and Patty (Purcell) Sanders. Jan worked for many years at Gentle Care Nursing Home and with River Front Home Health.
Jan was an attendee of Thursday Church.
In her free time she enjoyed listening to live music, dancing, cooking, playing bingo, camping, boating, and being outdoors. She was a jack of all trades and was known for helping others. Jan also adored her grandchildren and was involved with all their different activities. She will be deeply missed.
Jan is preceded in death by her parents; companion Thomas Eddie Carson; siblings Vicki Sanders and Tami (Jama) Sanders; brother in law Thomas East.
She is survived by her children Brian (Chelsea) McCrary and Kelly Fields; grandchildren Colton McCrary, Cayden McCrary, Ryker McCrary, Oaklee McCrary, Ethan Fields, Evan Fields; siblings Jay (Pam) Sanders, Penny (Roger) Hawkins, Melody (Chuck) Davis, Marlene East; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ms. Knox. There will be no services at this time.
