Janell Thomas

Janell R. Gardner Thomas, 63, passed away at 6:30 am on May 18, 2018 at the New Willow Manor. Jan was born on April 7, 1955 in Vincennes the daughter of George and Virginia Lee (Johnson) Gardner. She married Ron Thomas and he survives. Jan was a graduate of Vincennes Lincoln High School and the University of Evansville. She was a Registered Nurse for twenty-seven years. Survivors include her husband, Ron Thomas of Vincennes; son, Travis Satterfield of Indianapolis; step-son's Jeffrey and Gregory Thomas of Indianapolis; father and step-mother, George and Linda Gardner of Terre Haute; brother, David Gardner and his wife Pam of Vincennes; step-sister's, Sheryl Scott of Decatur, IL, and step-brother's John Scott of Texas and Joran Scott of Terre Haute. Jan was preceded in death by her mother Virginia Lee Gardner. Funeral services for Jan were held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
